About Me

choosing food suppliers for a non-profit camp

I have spent endless hours searching for food suppliers to purchase the food for the non-profit campground that I help run through the summer. I have learned that all pricing is different from supplier to supplier and so is the quality of the food that they offer. It has taken a very long time for me to learn what to get from a big food supplier and when to purchase things from a smaller supplier. To learn my methods of ordering food on a very tight budget for hundreds of people, visit my website. There, you will find a breakdown of my supplies and the suppliers that I use to get what I need each summer.

Tea Gift Ideas

by Layla Watson

If you have a special tea drinker in your life, treat them to the gift of their favorite beverage on the next special occasion. There are many different varieties of tea, both hot and iced, that you can choose from, so you'll have no problem finding the perfect gift.

Tea makes a convenient gift because it's available at almost every price to fit any budget. You can find any type of tea, from gourmet to traditional black, via online retailers, or in local specialty shops. If you purchase the tea online through a bulk retail tea supplier, you may end up saving money and will have plenty of gifts on hand as you need them.

You can give the gift of tea for almost any special occasion, including birthdays, holidays such as Christmas and Valentine's Day, anniversaries, graduations, housewarmings, bridal showers, and weddings. If you don't know the recipient's favorite tea variety, create a gift basket filled with a few different kinds to sample.

Following are some additional tea gift ideas to consider:

1. Seasonal Hot Teas

If you're gifting the tea at a specific time of year, such as during the winter holiday season, you can find seasonal variety. For instance, If the tea is a Christmas present, choose a box of peppermint-flavored hot tea as a festive touch.

Other Christmas-inspired hot tea flavors include sugar cookie, cranberry and orange, and cinnamon. For the tea connoisseur, go with an adventurous blend, such as one featuring pine needles.

If the recipient has an autumn birthday, treat him or her to apple cinnamon or pumpkin spice-flavored teas, or include a packet of mulling spices with a box of basic black tea bags. During the spring and summer months, choose more delicate teal blends featuring the floral and fruity notes of rose and peach.

2. Iced Tea Gifts

For iced tea drinkers, go with a type that is specialty blended to drink cold. Some options include mint green, herbal hibiscus, and black mango flavors. In some cases, you can find iced tea blends that are ready to drink with the addition of cold water and ice, so the recipient can skip the brewing process.

Round out an iced tea gift with an elegant glass pitcher and matching tall glasses specially designed for cold drinks. Include long spoons for stirring sugar, or gourmet syrups in a variety of both traditional and creative flavors, such as vanilla, lavender, mint, and satsuma.
